The Boost FM

The Boost needed more than just a podcast website—it needed a bold, recognizable brand that stood out in a saturated space. In a world where most business and marketing podcasts blend together visually and tonally, The Boost had to feel distinct from day one. The goal was to break the mold and create a brand experience that captured attention while remaining flexible across web, audio, and video content.

We worked closely with The Boost team to build a unique visual identity centered around an 80s-inspired aesthetic, but with a clean, modern execution. This retro-forward approach helped the brand pop while avoiding the cliché look many podcasts fall into.


The deliverables extended beyond just visuals—we developed a consistent brand system that carried through:

  • Website Design & Development: A custom site that showcased the podcast episodes, host, and mission with a modern structure and 80s color cues.
  • Podcast Branding: Logos, fonts, and visual treatments that matched the nostalgic tone while remaining professional and scalable.
  • Video Assets: We crafted overlays, lower-thirds, and background materials used during podcast recordings and promotional content.

This wasn’t just another website build or marketing campaign—The Boost presented a completely new type of challenge for our team. Unlike our typical projects, which are grounded in traditional business or service-oriented branding, this was the first time we were asked to create an entire brand identity for a podcast, from the ground up.

What made it even more unique was the creative direction. The client didn’t want the clean, corporate look most business podcasts rely on. Instead, they asked for something with energy, personality, and nostalgia—specifically, a visual identity inspired by the 1980s, yet still sharp and modern enough to hold up in today’s digital landscape.

We had never blended a retro theme with modern web design and multimedia podcast production before. It pushed us to explore new color schemes, type treatments, and video overlay techniques we hadn’t used in other projects. The end result was a one-of-a-kind solution that expanded our creative range and set a new benchmark for what we can offer to clients with bold ideas.

The Boost now stands out from typical business podcasts with a fun, energetic brand that immediately communicates its unique voice and personality. The cohesive assets ensure that whether you’re browsing the site, watching a video snippet, or tuning in on Spotify, the brand is instantly recognizable.
