  1. Build a Better Brand ExperienceAs I mentioned earlier nearly 50% of people say that a company’s website is the number one criteria for deciding whether or not a company is credible. With half of your potential customer’s judging your website as the primary factor of deciding whether or not your business is credible it is definitely in your best interest to optimize your website. As Warren Buffett says, “It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.”

So how do you build your reputation to the point where customers seek you out to do business? You need to have a lot of good repetition. Good repetition creates a good reputation which creates customers. Being that your company’s website is the primary way you engage with your customers, creating an amazing website customer’s repeatedly go to is the best way to brand your business as credible and an industry leader.

But how do you design your website so that customers want to repeatedly come to it? If you design and optimize your website by using data-driven statistics from Google Analytics (Analytics blog) you will have a plethora of information that will help you align your website with what your clients are looking for. Getting new clients and keeping your current clients happy will ultimately make your business and your brand a success.

  2. Create Blog

Blogs are the new business cards. They allow you to showcase your knowledge and credibility to the world. Not only do they drive traffic but they help your answer important questions for your visitors. By providing answers without asking for anything in return you will attract an audience that will likely be interested in your services and products. When you start writing a blog you establish yourself as an authority.

Writing a blog not only enables you to establish your authority but also provides the opportunity for your visitors to engage with you and turn them into clients. Because of my content I’ve been invited to speak at conferences and even Google Events which provides you even more opportunity to network. This networking will allow you to further extend your horizons and will greatly help you in proving you are an industry leader.

Blogs not only give you credibility and help you network but they are great for traffic generation. Generating traffic for a blog is actually easier than for a static website. The reason is search engines love new content so search engines will rank your website higher if you are constantly writing new blogs about your industry. Blogs are a very powerful tool for marketing your business because blogs create value for customers, establish you as an authority, help you network, and help you go to the top of Google.

Final Word: Invest in the Future

Online is the future of business and it is the number one criteria for customers in judging whether or not a company is credible. As more and more users are getting online and using the internet as their primary media outlet it becomes imperative that you create an online presence for your company. By creating a mobile-friendly website with a low bounce rate and load time focused on conversions you will be ahead of the game and ready to enter into the new age of business networking. I wish you the best of luck.
